Our CM1/CM2 (U.S. 4th/5th grade) class here in France is currently doing How Do I Get There? We are interested in doing an exchange with schools in or near Toronto and London. In the play, Mary lives in Toronto and wants to visit her friend Joe in London. It would mostly be an exchange of photos - so the kids can see what your school, playground, typical houses look like. We'd like to exchange lunch menus with photos of the meals and the cafeteria, photos of decorations at Christmas time, class schedules, class lists (to see the different names), examples of notebooks, etc. We are meeting on Thursday to discuss our ideas, if you are interested please let me know.

I teach in a small village (population 1400) near Valence which is about 100 kms south
of Lyon.

Thanks Judy and Mardi. I'll contact you soon.

Judy - I'm American but I've lived in France for most of the past 25 years. My older son is currently a foreign exchange student in Waterloo, Ontario.

If interested, contact me. We would love to do a pen pal exchange.
